Join our fantastic field course to Finnmark in Northern Norway!

The trip starts at Kirkenes Airport. Date and time is not decided yet, but ca. mid June 2022 (if Covid-19 allows it). We will drive directly to the Pasvik Valley, and stay there for two nights. Then we drive to the Varanger Peninsula and spend the rest of the trip around there.

The study is free of charge. However, you have to pay €380 in advance for car rental, fuel, accommodation and the boat trip to Hornøya.   You have to order and pay for your travel to Kirkenes and back home yourself.

You have to buy your own food (bread and spreads), water, juice and other liquids to be comfortable during the long birdwatching days. It is possible to buy dinner at restaurants every evening, and that will be approx 30 Euros every day. We will stay at places where it is possible to make our own dinner, and this option will be less expensive. It should be possible to spend less than 15 – 20 Euros on food each day this way.

You apply for the trip via My Page.

After we have received your application with the necessary information, you will be contacted by us. You will receive an invoice from us for the costs mentioned above. After you have paid, you will become a participant on the gathering in your chosen year. All contact with us will thereafter be by e-mail.
